Chung Moi Chinese Restaurant

i have been going here to chung moi for 12 years or more the food is the best around I have tried others and will never stray from Teresa me and my friends are loyal and always will be thanks Teresa and chung for making it all worth while. steve stark

I have been eating at Chung Moi for years now. I even get some to go and take it home for dinner after work. Food is GREAT. Portion are large. More than enough to fill you up and the prices a great. Lunch Special is very reasonable

Chung Moi was the first asian resturant I ever ate at. The CS was okay, but the food was great. Went in for the lunch special (before 3pm) excellent price and plenty of food. Kung Pao. Only negative would be they dont allow you to bring in your own drinks lol.

My husband and I absolutely love the Chung Moi we've been eating there for years!!! Theresa is a wonderful person with a great sense of humour too bad others have not recognized that and have mistaken this for rudeness. Some of our favourite dishes are chung Moi garlic shrimp, pakoras, hakka chow mein, curried mutton, cashew chicken and the list goes on.. we were so saddened when they had to close for a while due to a fire,what's worse now is we've moved to Hamilton and nothing absolutely nothing here comes close to the Chung Moi, but we'll be there tomorrow March 19th!!!here we come Theresa!! I hate Chinese food but I love to eat here. Polite and friendly service. And the food is large portioned and taste is fantastic! 4 years I've been eating here and many more to come! Order your food with veggies on the side and your meat portion doubles ) shhh! Don't tell anyone! Enjoy!!

Lets begin by saying that I I am south asian and hence know excatly what hakka chinese is all about. Chung Moi is average in terms of food quality. But whats disappointing is the service. All the servers are chinese girls with little or poor understanding of languages other than chinese. So communication is a big problem. Over and above that, the owner (Theresa) is overtly rude and embarassing if you have any questions or concerns. I once got a wrong order and instead of apologising she turned around and made me feel bad about it. Decor is very low scale and ambience not that great. I would rather reccomend other Hakka places like Good Luck right down the lane to this. Overall, ok to drop in for a quick meal but definitely not a place for a dine out

Food is too oily and the place is too dark. Owner have an attitude problem. People who like good service and good food, don't go there!

i got over-cooked pakora. overall the food isn't great. the only thing i liked was their fried rice. but i wouldn't recommend a friend to try their food.
