I bought a large boneless curry chicken dinner from this restaurant. To my suprise, the entire dish was rice and potatos. There was absolutely very little chicken in my take-out container. What a scam!!!

I've been there a couple of times, and each time the staff is rude and ill mannered.

Im still looking for a senior managers email address or someone who can do something about this problem. But listen, I hope someone reads this from the restaurant and takes this seriously. I was raised within a 1km radius of Sunrise. I was proud when they took over the Wendy's and stepped business up. The sad thing is that its black ppl that hold black ppl down. The employees Sunrise hires are low spirited and rude. They have Zero customer service skills. Theres no words that can express the ill desire I have to go there because of these shit face staff that behave like you're begging them something. OR behave like they're serving dogs. This HAS, not will, caused a loss in buisness. Do remember, Im the guy that wants to see this establishment, and any foundation black ppl intend to establish succeed. So please take me for real when I tell you the staff of Sunrise have caused many ppl I know, and Im absoulutely positive there are many more, who have not returned to Sunrise because of the poor customer service ie. leaving customers in the drive thru for over 15 minutes with no explanation or regard, (I've driven off and know ppl that have had to park and go inside to ask what the problem is) and poor universal etiquette. A truly saddening but solvable problem. I enjoy Sunrise food,and will continue going because Im hungry and want food. But theres ppl who wont go, which ultimately results in a loss of business. If the managers/owners of Sunrise care about business, they'll do some serious tidying up and step up the Sunrise game once again. For the record, Im an unbiased east scarborough native of 30 plus years with Jamaican heritage and your staff suck. Steadily. Not just once a week or here and there. ALL THE TIME.

The Customer Service could be a little better. The only thing I eat from there is the fried chicken.

The food is amazing, however the prices compaired to other restaraunts are pretty expensive.

The staff here are all very friendly and courteous. The food however is rather bland and they always seem to be sold out of plantains, ackee and saltfish and banana porridge -not to mention dumplings. There is rarely any meat in the red pea soup - the cow foot soup is inedible -I would like to see the person who cooked it drink it himself. It also looked a sickly yellow colour. The problem here is the food used to be good long ago but the original cooks must have left because almost nothing tastes like it was cooked by a Jamaican. Props to the banana porridge though and it's nice getting to order that through a 'drive-through' window -)

The food is horrible and it's too expensive. The service is also horrible. Staff here are not freindly. They are all rude. I wish the original guys were still here. Why did they ever leave and have these disgusting people working here. They should be working in a back alley instead of serving the public. I know in a matter of time this restaurant will be closing down because no one will be going there to buy their tasteless food.

The food absolutely garbage, i dont know what have happen but the food just isnt what it use to be.

Your food is horrible. What Happen ? Every time you order something you never have it. You run your business very unproffessional/ Come on your making carribean restaurnts look bad. If you can't take the heat get out the kitchen. Also your employees have no manners.

2007/07/20 The food was horrible. Today I ordered half oxtail/jerk chicken with veggies from Sunrise but instead I got gravy soup and paid $12 for that crap. I am just so disgusted that someone had the guts to service this to a customer which they would not have done for there self. Trust me everyone at work and from who I know will not be ordering from your restaurant again. I don't know what happen to to the service but your restaurant has really slacked off big time.
