They have the best lunch special in toronto

...I like going Friday nights for the music and drinks. BUT, the waitresses and bartenders are not always friendly, especially the female workers to female patrons. You want people to keep coming back, be polite and have customer service. Also, I hate that Windies usually plays majority of the time Soca music. More reggae and Dancehall would keep me coming more often. I haven't been in a year, that was the last time I went. And I'm not urging to go. I only go rarely now, maybe if customer service was better and less soca...it would be great. Just some things to think about....

I am responding to a few of these comments , my experience with ordering i have never had a rude person, what i would like this restaurant to improve is there waiting time for for an order. Secondly yes the music need to improve, if you want to attract customers, there is certain expectation we look for, i fine the food is tasty and i hope the manger will make sure that will be a number one priority, making money is not all. I thinks management need to get feed back from customers and this restaurant can end up being a number one restaurant in Scarborough area. What i have notice serving at the bars is not a clean environment , handling money and serving oh no i know ice they say don't carry germs but? Anyway as time goes i will make my comments.

Was there this past week & it sucks the music was soca all night & the crowd was shit not a good party won't b goning back.

Definitely agree with the comments that the place has great music, food at a good price and a great atmosphere for any occasion. I would recommend this bar for just a meal or to go for the music at night. They have a lot on the menu too.

I find the customer service is lousy, they are rude when you call to place an order. This is no way to treat customer...it is not fine dinning for sure...

Windies has to be the most exciting place to attend on a weekend.
The music is faboulous , food is excellent and the crowd is amazing.
Its one of the only places in Scarborough that i feel the most safe! The waitresses are hot,friendly and always a service with a smile , and security is Tight so you know your good when your in there. I will continue to recommend Windies to everybody. D

I LOOOOOVEEE THIS PLACE i love the music, the food was amazing, and the atmosphere is so fun! i love going there and keep telling all of my friends about it

I went there for the first time, the service was excellent, music was amazing, can't forget the food it was delicious, the atmosphere was very warm and friendly, I'm surprised I never went there sooner, it looks like im going to be a regular customer, and I would recommend this place to all my friends. its a great place to hang out with friends, I usually don't got to bars, but this place i feel safe.

Too noisy to carry on any kind of conversation. You are yelling at the person sitting next to you. Service sucks. Cops have been called because of the noise level. Don't appreciate being met by police when we exited. We also found out that there has been a shooting here. Won't be going back. Want to live a little longer.

SUCKS!! Lousy service. The waitress could not remember our orders. She forgot what we ordered. When we finally got the food....of course it was not what we ordered. I'll not recommend this restaurant nor will I return.

The food is great there, always get served with a smile and your order is made relatively fast. Would reccomend this place to anyone.

Windies Restaurant&Sports Bar has room for improvemtnt. The food is good, however there should be more cocktails on the drinks menu. The environment is a bit too noisy for the mature patron seeking a mellow place to wind down on a Friday evening. It reminds me of a Rum Shop in the Caribbean, at times. The location is fantastic, but lots can be done to improve Windies part of it.

This is the worst restaurant to have any type of gathering at! the owner/manager I dunno who he is, was extremely unprofessional and DISORGANISED,
In addition the fact that you have an overwhelming bug spray lingering over your food plus the cut eye the waitresses give you when you order a drink may definitely indicate you should try another West Indian Restaurant
